I've finally made some pretty double -sided bunting flags.
It's now springing up our front window until the flowers start to pop up. A little Elvis in home decor adds some punch.

I'm working on some new wearable art pieces that include hand dyed wools, rusty found objects and collaged words. These may be inspired by my "new" collection of jars to store dry goods. Paid a quarter for most at a weekend antique sale at the Walker House. I want more! Love to see all the colours and textures when I look on the kitchen shelves-just as rich as my studio shelves.
Wildlife Puppet and Performance Project It was a busy winter. I was in the classroom with Grade 5s at Ripley-Huron Community School. Here, students work together on a group challenge to move various items using a rubber band tied with individual strings. The students made puppet faces constructed from paper plates, cups and recycled cardboard held together with strong paper mache. Everyone made there own eyes, then colour is being blocked in with glue and tissue paper. Paws on sticks are also being made at the same time. Love seeing all the indigenous animals they've chosen!
